Position Summary: What is an Insurance Advisor?
Insurance Advisor is the title we use here in our Charlotte Sales and Technology hub. We are licensed Insurance Agents.
Under close supervision, closes targeted number of sales from leads, prospects and policyholders to achieve auto, property, and specialty sales targets in a sales center environment.
As a top 20 Insurance Broker you will have access to multiple carriers to provide your prospects with the best coverages at the best pricing.
This is a base pay plus commission compensation structure!
Principal Responsibilities:
Handle inbound calls and make outbound calls to leads, consult with customers on their insurance needs and match the correct coverages, products and benefits to convert leads into customers. We provide all of your leads.
Assesses customer’s insurance needs and suggest/advise products and coverage’s based on a need/exposure assessment. Conducts need/exposure assessments involves interviewing prospective clients to obtain data about their financial resources and needs, the physical condition of their person or property to be insured, claims history and coverage gaps..
Finalizes the sale, coordinates collection of deposits, arranges for binders and certificates, and briefs the service team on the policy sale.
Maintains a concern for accuracy, timeliness and completion when interacting with current and prospective clients.
Maintains understanding and knowledge of insurance and underwriting criteria for insurance company partners represented by the firm to effectively communicate to all involved.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Comfortable making calls and talking to people on the phone all day
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and interact with potential customers
Persuasive and goal-oriented
Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and friendly demeanor
Eager to expand company with new sales
Self-motivated and self-directed
Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently

Previous experience in outbound call center, inside sales experience, or related sales experience preferred but willing to talk with outgoing people
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM/Salesforce experience preferred
We will take care of all licensing and you will be paid for all studying and taking a 40 hour online course all about property and casualty insurance – There is a test at the end of the process to earn your P&C license
This is a base pay ($41,600) plus commission.
