Inside Sales – Security Solutions

We’re looking for a proactive, customer‑focused Inside Sales Representative to join our collaborative team delivering B2B Security, Networking, Datacom, and Telecom product solutions.
This role supports our Security Solutions customer base and product portfolio.

Why This Role Matters
As a key point of contact for integrator customers, you’ll support our Outside Sales team to manage day-to-day customer needs, provide product solutions, and a seamless customer experience.
Your ability to handle enquiries, resolve supply challenges, and spot opportunities strengthens relationships and supports revenue growth.
What You’ll Do
- Customer Enquiries: Handle inbound calls and emails with prompt, accurate support.
- Order Management: Create and process orders with high accuracy.
- Fulfilment Coordination: Verify orders, manage fulfilment, and communicate stock, lead times, and delivery updates.
- Product & Solution Selling: Recommend products and alternatives that meet customer needs, while driving upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.
- Value‑Added Services: Promote Wesco Anixter’s supply chain service offerings, including kitting and project staging
- Quoting: Support Outside Sales to prepare, issue, and follow up on quotations.
- Order Status Management: Monitor open orders, backorders, and expediting requirements.
- Internal Collaboration: Work with outside sales, operations, technology support, inventory, and suppliers to resolve issues and deliver outcomes.
What You Bring
- Strong phone presence with the ability to sell
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in a fast‑paced customer service or inside sales environment
- Technical aptitude with a willingness to learn products, system design, and solutions
- Excellent administration and organisational skills
- Inside Sales or relevant experience in a technology/wholesale distribution environment (highly regarded)
