Job Description:
GENERAL PURPOSE
The Inside Sales Representative is an integral part of the commercial sales organization supporting and contributing to the team’s success by providing world-class customer service. Representatives are responsible for building and maintaining customer relationships, understanding customer needs, and aligning them with applicable BWFS product offerings with a focus on selling BWFS upgrades and generating new and remanufactured equipment leads for Equipment Sales Executives.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Achieve and/or exceed upgrade sales targets, through proactive selling.

Develop a thorough knowledge of BWFS packaging equipment and service offerings.

Collaborate with various members of the commercial sales organization to build relationships within the existing customer base.

Submit leads for new and remanufactured equipment opportunities.

Support the Equipment Sales Executives by helping manage projects, leads and equipment installations as needed.

Supply customers with machine specifications for existing equipment and help them understand its current value.

Understand a customer’s performance requirements and packaging challenges for a variety of applications.

Propose solution options to address packaging challenges for customers by collaborating with BWFS engineers and Equipment Sales Executives. Depending on the situation, this may require coordinating product samples.

Cultivate effective business relationships and actively promote the entire spectrum of BWFS products and services. This would include replacement part sales, technical service, training, and the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) Program.

Utilize customer relationship management (CRM) system(s) to capture and maintain accurate records of customer contacts, activities, equipment install base, sales opportunities, and competitive information.

Internally communicate competitive intelligence and customer activities to increase the company’s competitive edge in the marketplace.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
- Associate degree and minimum 5 years’ experience in sales or a sales support role or bachelor’s degree and minimum 3 years’ experience in sales or a sales support role.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES
- Consistently deliver world class customer service.
- Generate profitable revenue growth by actively engaging new prospects and existing customers.
- Ability to understand mechanical drawings and basic schematics.
- Able to determine value pricing, understand customer contracts and resolve price objections.
- Collaboratively work in a team environment to achieve individual and team goals.
- Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and establish key work priorities with minimal supervision.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new applications as required.
OTHER
- Ability to periodically travel (15%)
- Must have valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
