The New York Islanders Hockey Club is one of the most iconic franchises in professional sports, with a deeply passionate and loyal fan base that is second to none. Built on a Dynasty in the 1980’s with four straight Stanley Cup Championships and 19 consecutive playoff series wins, our history has defined a legacy that remains untouched in professional sports. That legacy inspires us to leave our mark in the sports, entertainment, and cultural landscape.
In 2021, the New York Islanders opened their permanent home at UBS Arena, a state-of-the-art venue built for hockey and made for music. Located on the historic grounds of Belmont Park, the arena pairs world-class sports and entertainment with one of New York's most iconic destinations.
UBS Arena features best-in-class amenities, including premium suites, clubs, and lounges that deliver an elevated hospitality experience. Get ready to dive into an intensive sales program where you’ll prospect and sell group ticket packages and suites offered for UBS Arena and the New York Islanders.
Show Us You Can
- Flex your cold-calling muscles by contacting community organizations to make appointments and close sales on Suite Rentals, Arena Group Outings and Islanders Ticket Packages
- Execute upon targeted sales plans towards Arena events to drive revenue at scale
- Google your way towards new prospects within the New York metro area and generate referrals
- Beat individual annual goals set by your Sales Manager
- Represent the team at UBS Arena events and work on in-game selling of ticket packages or entertaining prospective clients
- Generate leads at special events and other networking opportunities in the area
- Light up the phones with 50-70 outbound calls daily
Your Training & Talent
- Bachelor’s degree
- 1-2 years of sales experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Microsoft Office skills
Where You’ll Go
- The New York Islanders have offices in Floral Park, NY. You will be in the office 3 days per week
- Attend Islanders home games and other events at UBS Arena (events can fall on nights, weekends, and holidays)

The salary range for this position is between $30,000.00-$35,000.00 annually. Actual base pay for a successful candidate will be determined based on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to, skills, education, training, experience and market demands. This role is eligible for additional compensation through sales commissions.

The New York Islanders Hockey Club LP operates as a professional hockey team that plays in the Metropolitan Division of the Eastern Conference in the National Hockey League. Founded in 1972 and based in Elmont, the Islanders are Long Island’s only major league professional sports franchise. The Islanders are the proud winners of four Stanley Cup titles and the home to nine Hockey Hall of Famers.
