Entry-Level Business Development Representative
Location: Plano, TX (On-site | 5 days a week – in-office required)

Just finished school and ready to launch your career in tech? At Ribbon Communications, we’re looking for driven, curious, and confident communicators to join us as Business Development Representatives. You’ll gain hands-on sales experience, learn from industry pros, and start building your career in a growing global company.

⚠️ Please note: This role is 100% in-office, Monday through Friday, at our Plano, TX location. Remote work is not available for this position.

What You’ll Do

  • Reach out to potential customers (via phone, email, and digital channels) and start conversations that create opportunities

  • Qualify leads by learning about customer needs and pain points — we’ll train you on what to look for

  • Collaborate with Sales team members to turn leads into real sales opportunities

  • Track and manage your pipeline using Salesforce CRM

  • Learn how to pitch, persuade, and close — and get better every week

Required Experience & Skills

You don’t need years of experience — just the right mindset and a few essentials:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)

  • Comfortable using tools like Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)

  • Basic familiarity with CRM systems — or willingness to learn (Salesforce experience is a plus)

  • Highly organized with great time management skills

  • Positive attitude, a self-starter, and eager to grow professionally in a tech-focused sales role

  • Must be able to work in the Plano office, 5 days a week
