We are currently recruiting a Inside Sales Representative for our branch in Ballymount. You’ll join a busy, supportive team. The role is customer-focused and ideal for someone who thrives on helping professionals find the right products quickly and accurately. Driving license is required.
Job DescriptionRole Purpose:
The successful candidate will source new sales through inbound leads, will work directly with potential customers to understand their needs, and will ensure the number of closed sales is maximized throughout the year.
Key Accountabilities:
- Taking calls and working Inside sales orders.
- Processing Quotations for Customers.
- Working as part of an experienced Sales Team.
- Involvement in all aspects of the business on site.
- Grow sales from existing accounts as well as proactively looking for new business and new accounts.
- Working closely with the Sales development Team and Branch Manager to maximise sales and margin.
- Act as an extension of the outside sales force to proactively grow electrical product sales, handle customer enquiries, process orders and resolve customer issues promptly.
- Secure market level pricing feedback from customers and provide timely price quotations and/or proposals.
- Price, procure/place orders, handle claims and returned goods, and manage accounts.
- Any other duties as required.
Essential Experience:
- Electrical Wholesale experience an advantage.
- Electrical Product knowledge
- Sales experience essential
- Must be computer literate
- A full driving licence is essential
Technical/Functional Skills
- Demonstrate good organizational and time management skills.
- Good attention to detail and be able to prioritize and work well under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to deal on a regular basis with colleagues and customers.
- Good IT skills ( Word, Outlook, Excel).
- Fluency in English both written and spoken.
