We are seeking a proven, strategic and transformational Commercial Sales Manager to lead a team of Account Executives who are tasked with generating growth in Commercial Accounts. The appointed sales leader will play a key role in leading this highly visible and motivated team that generates revenues and achieves individual, team and organizational quotas. You'll be a valuable contributor to the corporate sales strategy while providing definition and implementation of the plan for Sales to achieve Sales objectives.
 

This is a high growth opportunity working with key strategic businesses and it will involve you positioning our best-in-class solutions across Unified Communications as a Service (UCaaS) and Contact Centers and more to businesses looking to transform their processes
 

Responsibilities

  • Drive transformational change from reactive and transactional to strategically and outbound focused within a commercial sales region.

  • Strong negotiation abilities to close deals and resolve conflicts effectively.

  • Supporting direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings

  • Ability to create effective sales strategies and plans that align with Commercial Sales goals

  • Define Sales goals with leadership team and implement processes, infrastructure and hiring to execute against set goals and quotas

  • Proficiency in building and maintaining strong relationships with clients to drive sales growth.

  • Support direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings, engaging other corporate resources as required

  • Ongoing mentoring and development of the sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and training new Reps on sales process

  • Conducting weekly forecast meetings

  • Coach direct reports regarding strategies to drive closure

  • Reporting on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management

  • Consistently monitoring the sales activity of the team, and tracking the results

  • Proficiency in analyzing sales data to make informed decisions and track performance.

  • Flexibility to adjust strategies and tactics in response to changing market conditions.

Qualifications

  • At least 8yrs experience and strong success in recruiting, coaching and managing an exceptional sales team

  • A strong background in SaaS, Software and Communications Sales preferably with experience in Contact Center

  • Extensive track record of new business sales supported by strong presentation and negotiation skills within industry and at C Level

  • Strong strategic thinking including analytical and financial planning skills to meet and exceed quotas

  • Experience working with and developing Channel relationships

  • Understanding of multiple Sales Methodologies particularly relevant to today's Enterprise SaaS and Cloud Communications industry

  • Experienced in driving sales process and drive effective working relationships with Sales Operations

  • A proven ability to build long term strategic and senior-level relationshipsAbility to adapt and work effectively within a rapidly changing and growing environment

The compensation range reflects the Company’s good faith belief at the time of posting. 8x8 has different base pay ranges for different work locations within the United States, which allows us to pay employees competitively and consistently in different geographic markets. The range above reflects the potential base pay across the U.S. for this role; the applicable base pay range will depend on what ultimately is determined to be the candidate’s primary work location. Further, individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, knowledge, success, education and skills. Base pay ranges are reviewed and typically updated each year. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. Certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including discretionary merit increases, bonus and/or stock. Certain roles have the opportunity to earn sales variable compensation incentives based on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.

Salary Ranges:

$125,250.00 - $208,750.00
