The Regional Marketing Manager/Specialist role drives the end-to-end regional marketing engine for ABB Robotics across high-growth markets in South Asia, India, and MEA region. Acting as the critical strategic bridge between Global Marketing Strategy and Local Sales Execution, the position leads market awareness, campaign localization, marketing automation, lead generation, and sales enablement. The focus is on capturing share of voice (SOV) and growing market share in the industrial and collaborative robotics market. The position bridges global marketing strategy with regional market dynamics, requiring strong collaboration with Sales, Inside Sales, Channel Management, Product Management, and Marketing Communications teams.

This role is contributing to the ABB Robotics in Bangalore, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Develop and execute regional marketing strategies aligned with business objectives, market priorities, and customer segments across the SOMA region.
- Lead end-to-end planning, localization, and execution of integrated marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness, demand generation, and business growth.
- Partner closely with Sales, Product Management, and Portfolio teams to generate qualified leads, improve conversion rates, and strengthen marketing-to-sales alignment.
- Manage digital marketing programs, events, trade shows, webinars, and product launches while tracking campaign effectiveness and return on investment (ROI).
- Drive partner co-marketing initiatives, customer case studies, and partner portal enablement resources to accelerate channel growth and market credibility.
- Create and maintain high-impact, brand-compliant marketing collaterals—including whitepapers, videos, presentations, and customer testimonials—in collaboration with cross-functional teams to position ABB Robotics as the premier industry choice.
- Equip sales teams with pitch decks, battlecards, and launch training while leveraging market intelligence, competitive analysis, and performance metrics to drive product adoption and continuously enhance marketing effectiveness.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum 7+ years of marketing experience, including experience in B2B technology, industrial automation, manufacturing, or related industries.
- Proven expertise in developing and executing regional marketing strategies and integrated marketing campaigns.
- Strong experience in digital marketing, including SEO, SEM, LinkedIn campaigns, marketing automation, and lead nurturing programs.
- Hands-on experience with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms such as Salesforce, Pardot, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of demand generation, lead management, pipeline tracking, and marketing performance measurement.
- Experience supporting product launches, sales enablement initiatives, channel partner marketing, and customer engagement programs.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across global and regional teams.
- Knowledge of industrial automation, robotics, manufacturing technologies, or related technical industries is highly desirable.
- Willingness to travel within the SOMA region (10-20%) and work in a dynamic, fast-paced global environment.
