Switchcraft® is a U.S. manufacturer of connectors, jacks, plugs, molded cable assemblies, patchbays, and switches. Our products are used in a wide variety of industries including medical, GPS, process control, transportation, homeland security, broadcast and pro audio.
The Account Representative is responsible for providing service and support to distributors, OEM customers and outside sales force.
Location: Jefferson Park, IL (Chicago)
Shift: M-F 7:30-4pm
Pay: $22/Hour
Job Duties:
- Heavy phone and e-mail contact with customers
- Interface with manufacturing, operations, engineering, and accounting in order to provide the highest level of service
- Providing quotes for customers by reviewing drawings, working with regional sales managers and the quoting specialist.
- Order processing by using our ERP system and expediting when necessary
- Some technical support
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years customer service experience in MANUFACTUIRNG environment
- Experience working with Purchase Orders
- The ability to handle multiple incoming calls and e-mails
- The ability to multi-task and prioritize their work and time
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Excellent computer skills, Windows and Internet
- Technical/electronic background a plus.
