As an Inside sales consultant, you utilize strong knowledge of the financial services industry, supporting the Business Services referral mandate within the Market Growth, Brand Expansion, and Partner Relations (Outside of Quebec) business unit. The key responsibility is to support the sales cycle, ensuring momentum in the cycle, and a positive member and client experience for the Business Development opportunities identified within the silos of lead generation. You help build and maintain business relationships with internal business partners, prospects, and members and clients. You drive results by reviewing various requests and helping to promote and sell products and services based on client needs and your unit’s business objectives and strategies. More specifically you will be required to:

Prospect follow up, making multiple outbound calls or sending emails to potential clients

Maintain the database of prospects and monitor referral activity in CRM

Research for potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources

Qualify leads from Networking events, conferences, tradeshows, etc.

Understand the client/prospect needs providing solutions and support

Attend Brand Expansion Events Promoting “One Desjardins”

Support social media calendar and content

Participate in presentations and support delivery of One Desjardins Information to potential clients

Work and align with Business Development sales teams when referring a lead

Track weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metric.

What you bring to the table

College diploma in a related field

A minimum of three years of relevant experience in inside sales
