Aviatron, Inc. takes pride in its’ key role of providing leadership in the use of quality Parts Manufacturer Approval (PMA) & Designated Engineering Representative (DER) parts on Air Cycle Machines for the largest Regional Jet Operators in the world. And in using quality PMA parts for the Air Cycle Machine’s rotating group on the CRJ & Dash 8 aircraft, we have achieved significant cost savings for our customers in the process without sacrificing quality or reliability. We endeavor to increase the availability of quality PMA parts to keep our customers’ costs low.

 

Our capabilities encompass a wide range of manufacturers and aircraft components. Our overhaul facility is supported by dedicated and knowledgeable staff who strive to provide our customers with superior service and cost-effective solutions.

Base salary range: $57,000-$65,000 annually, plus commission potential, comprehensive health/dental/vision/Life and disability insurance, 401(k) match up to 6%, and Vacation, sick days, flexible work. 


Overview of the Position

The Inside Sales Associate maintains existing business and identifies opportunities for growth with new or existing product lines


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establish and maintain good customer relations and ensure customers receive prompt, world-class service.
  • Contact customers to follow up, promote products and review missed sales opportunities and provide quote responses; emphasize product features based on analysis of customer's needs.
  • Research products and maintain fundamental understanding of their technical use; provide technical information to customers and be knowledgeable to support complex service offerings.
  • Obtain competitive information and Intelligence at responsible accounts.
  • Obtain new PMA development applications and understand Wencor core competencies.
  • Continually follow up on New PMA part approvals and promote to applicable customer.
  • Maintain customer profiles and specific customer database information (Retention/Quote Follow-up/Salesforce)
  • Maintain regular contact with Regional Account Director when senior level visits are required.
  • Perform market research on units and executes purchase of internal units for sale.
  • Coordinate with other departments within the organization to achieve sales targets.
  • Participate in training, including new hire training.
  • Help with collections as needed.
  • Review and maintain long term contract agreements.
  • Understand contracts and pursue both Purchasing and Development.
  • Assist in writing contracts and help with input.
  • Additional responsibilities as assigned by management.

Other Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Must be fluent with MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and be familiar with reports and ability to manipulate data sets using Filters, Vlookup, Pivot Tables, and other Excel functions.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize and work in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to perform under pressure are critical skills.

Previous sales and customer service experience required.

Preferred Qualifications

Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Marketing, or related degree with two years related experience and/or training; minimum three years acceptable performance as Inside Sales Representative; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

 

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

  • Travel less than 5%

Skills Required

  • Previous sales and customer service experience
  • Minimum three years experience as an Inside Sales Representative or equivalent
  • Fluent with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to use filters, VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables and other Excel functions
  • Experience using Salesforce or CRM systems and maintaining customer database information
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical, financial, and legal documents
  • Ability to calculate figures, apply basic algebra and percentages, and perform related mathematical tasks
  • Ability to analyze technical product information and provide technical support to customers
