Job Summary

Looking for an Account Executive with floral experience. A currently employed person with a customer base in the Long Island Area including Suffolk and Nassau Counties, Queens, Brooklyn, Bronx and Staten Island is a plus. Compensation is commensurate with experience.

Job Duties

  • Job Activities will include:
  • Managing the sales, customer service and collections for your client base.
  • Developing new accounts in the Long Island area and in any other service area we physically deliver to which includes: Suffolk, Nassau, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, Manhattan, Staten Island, Westchester, and Rockland. It also includes significant areas of Connecticut and New Jersey as well.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Candidates must be responsible and trustworthy individuals who are detail oriented. You must be self motivated, very organized, and computer literate with experience using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.
  • Comfort with phone and digital driven sales.
  • Floral industry experience a must. Experience with a position where you purchase cut flowers and supplies for a retailer a plus. Currently selling wholesale floral products a huge plus.
  • comfort and familiarity with the major social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest) and effective use of them is important.
