Here are the problems you’ll be solving
Grocery TV currently reaches over 72 million unique customers monthly through 20,912 displays across over 5000 stores, delivering 207 million monthly visits.
In this role, you will take ownership of developing and implementing efficient processes to manage equipment orders from initiation to delivery. You will oversee vendor relationships with our warehouse and equipment partners, ensuring seamless operations and maintaining precise inventory counts to support business success.
The GTV team is primarily based here in Austin, with a satellite office in New York City and handful of remote employees. For this role, we're looking for someone who is based here in Austin and can travel to Dallas once a month for 3 days.
Responsibilities
- Build and execute processes that seamlessly move equipment from order to delivery.
- Develop and implement accurate inventory forecasting models to ensure optimal stock levels, reduce excess inventory, and minimize stockouts, while aligning with sales trends and business demand.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and establish reorder triggers to optimize capital usage.
- Lead and nurture relationships with warehouse and equipment vendors.
- Partner with field operations, success managers, and marketing to proactively address business needs.
Growth opportunities
- You'll spearhead the development of a full-fledged supply chain function at Grocery TV, with ample room to grow your skills and organizational impact.
- As you master vendor management, opportunities to grow into procurement and other supply chain specialties will be present
Qualifications
- 4+ years of Supply Chain management experience
- Proven experience in independently managing and optimizing a supply chain
- A track record of managing vendor relationships with suppliers and 3PL warehouse partners.
- Ability to safely lift and transport items weighing up to 50 lbs as part of daily responsibilities.
- Start-up experience is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to travel 3 days a month to Dallas, TX, to manage inventory
Compensation
As a part of our commitment to transparency, we use a market-based formula that provides consistency across roles & experience levels and publish all of our compensation data internally for our team. We’re open to a range of experience levels for this position. Here are the annual salaries for each level:
- Senior Supply Chain Manager I: $117,000
