Job Overview

As an Inside Sales Associate for General Implement, you'll support customers by processing parts orders, assisting with warehouse duties, and helping ensure accurate and timely delivery. This is a customer-facing role that combines sales, technical support, and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Sales & Support

  • Handle phone and walk-in parts orders
  • Accurately identify customer needs and recommend solutions
  • Input orders into the computer system
  • Pull and prepare parts for customer pickup
  • Order parts from vendors and create purchase orders

Warehouse Duties

  • Receive and stock inventory accurately
  • Pull parts orders for shipping or pickup
  • Perform regular inventory cycle counts
  • Assist with shipping and receiving
  • Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness
  • Support the Warehouse Manager as needed

Administrative & Team Support

  • Keep your workstation clean and organized
  • Help prepare for inventory counts
  • File paperwork and answer phones as needed
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service
  • Follow all safety protocols

Qualifications

  • Ability to operate or be certified to operate a forklift
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word & Excel
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work well in a team environment
  • Willingness to learn new products and procedures
  • Organized and self-motivated

Physical Requirements

  • Frequently walk on foot, sometimes across uneven terrain
  • Use hands for gripping and handling tools or parts
  • Lift up to 60 lbs regularly
  • Stand, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in and around equipment
  • Sit at a computer for extended periods
  • Read manuals, parts books, and computer screens
  • Communicate clearly via phone, radio, or in-person

Working Conditions

  • Work in both a temperature-controlled office and an active warehouse
  • May encounter noise, odors, fumes, and harsh substances
  • Safety equipment and training provided
