The total annual compensation target for this position is $90,000 - $100,000+ including base salary and target variable. This is a commissioned sales role.Job Description:
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with growing, new, and lapsed customers to meet or exceed annual sales targets while ensuring profitability.
- Engage fully with customers on every sales call to understand their needs and demonstrate how Finning can support them.
- Maintain accurate records of account details and equipment population and manage activities and opportunities using Saleslink.
- Collaborate with the extended product support network, including product management, equipment sales, outside product support representatives, inside sales representatives, and parts and service teams.
- Develop strategic call and account plans for your customer base.
- Resolve complex and technically challenging customer needs quickly and effectively.
- Convert data and intelligence leads into active sales opportunities.
Required Skills:
- Sales-driven mindset with a proven track record of achieving targets.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to navigate and resolve complex customer challenges effectively.
- Strategic approach to account management, prospecting, and solution selling.
Education & Experience:
- Minimum 7+ years of demonstrable success in sales or customer facing role
- Parts ticket and strong mechanical aptitude with heavy equipment knowledge are assets.
- Extensive experience in the heavy equipment and/or construction industry.
