About the Job

Redesign Health accelerates the pace of innovation by leveraging our proven methodology and platform capabilities to build and fund new companies within a connected healthcare ecosystem. We are seeking an Innovation Program Director (IPD) to play a pivotal role in driving value by designing and executing Innovation Programs that meet our partners’ strategic goals. 

The Innovation Program Director works with specific customer segment types (health systems, biopharma, health plans, etc.) and key strategic partner accounts to create value by accelerating their innovation strategy through commercial execution of prioritized venture concepts.  This role also identifies opportunities to drive value for Redesign Health by generating diversified services revenue, evaluating venture concepts for company co-creation, and identifying opportunities for early operating company traction. This role is responsible for understanding the customer's goals & strategic objectives, and then working with cross-functional Redesign Health teams to design and deliver innovation programs and services that lead to high customer satisfaction. 

This role has overall responsibility for the internal and external success of partner relationships, including successful program delivery and strategic partner growth. This role will report into the VP of Innovation Programs. You may work out of our New York City Headquarters or Remote. 

What you'll need:

  • Identify, prospect, and engage strategic partner target accounts aligned with customer segments to drive sales and implement and expand innovation program services.
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of strategic innovation partners aligned with segment-specific customer types across the partner lifecycle.
  • Foster and drive strong, effective relationships with strategic partners, from executive leadership to internal teams, to understand customer goals and ensure successful implementation and delivery of Redesign Health's innovation programs for satisfaction, retention, and growth.
  • Translate customer needs into proposals and SOWs for Redesign Health innovation programs, collaborating with teams to meet goals including revenue, profitability, growth targets, and partner satisfaction. 
  • Identify and connect co-creation opportunities between a partner's needs and Redesign Health's research interests, leveraging RH's portfolio for early market traction.
  • Monitors and tracks all aspects of the program, including productivity milestones, deliverables, and timelines.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, health administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years in business development, customer relationship management, or partner success experience within or selling to healthcare enterprises.
  • Proven knowledge of corporate innovation and strategy.

What you will bring to the table:

  • Business development, customer relationship management, or partner success experience with healthcare enterprises.
  • Direct experience establishing or managing an innovation function within a complex organization is preferred.
  • Experience working in a small, agile, and centralized team that collaborates with various internal stakeholders to achieve goals.
