SageSure, a leader in catastrophe-exposed property insurance, is seeking an Innovation Product Analyst for the Home Services team. Recognizing the importance of proactive repairs and timely maintenance in reducing insured losses, SageSure is dedicated to equipping policyholders with the necessary tools and services to prevent avoidable damage to their homes. In this role, you will be focused on the development and growth of innovative product and service offerings aimed at broadening the value proposition of insuring with SageSure. The ideal candidate will have experience in the home services industry and demonstrated product management success including customer research, development of go-to-market strategies, product performance tracking, and data-driven iterative product enhancement.
What you’d be doing:
- Conduct background research to explore new opportunities for providing additional value and services within existing home insurance relationships, as well as generating new revenue streams for SageSure beyond the conventional boundaries of home insurance.
- Develop and manage a portfolio of proactive repair and maintenance services tailored to meet the needs of SageSure's policyholders.
- Analyze and automate various home services data streams during pilot testing of potential new product offerings and continuously for established home service products, to optimize take-up and enhance product value proposition.
- Lead experiments with messaging, pilot testing, offering design, and incentives to maximize policyholder take-up and engagement with new home services offerings.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify new growth opportunities. Collaborate with internal teams, such as Marketing, Data Management, Underwriting, and external stakeholders to execute initiatives and manage partner relationships.
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Master’s level degree or higher in business, marketing, engineering, behavioral science, or related discipline with strong understanding of typical home systems (e.g., structural, mechanical, electrical) and/or consumer decision-making processes.
- Proficiency in common statistical data analysis and modeling techniques and/or experience working with Python, R, SQL, Microsoft Dynamics 365, etc.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to apply critical thinking across various disciplines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
Highly preferred candidates also have:
- Doctoral degree in engineering or behavioral science discipline.
- Prior experience working within a P&C insurance company or entity serving the insurance industry.
- Prior experience working within a home service-related role.
