Job Description

We are searching for an Injection Manager to ensure that all assigned operations and production processes are completed on time and quality standard, whilst ensuring that all systems are followed and targets are achieved in accordance with safe working practices in the injection molding area.

Main responsibilities:

1. Execution of Injection Molding production according to plan and following quality and quantity requirements.
2. Ensure that the assigned work area is kept clean and tidy in accordance with company improvement initiatives, 5S/Lean etc. and according with health and safety requirements.
3. Manage the team workload and set directions, goals and tasks to be implemented, delegating powers and responsibilities.
4. Ensure and develop the competences of the team, participate in the performance review, appraisal, grading and salary reviews.
5. Consistently work towards the reduction of waste in both time and materials
6. Ensure that manufacturing records are completed to standard and in accordance with internal processes.
7. Leading projects related to Lean, 5S, etc.
8. Ensuring that improvements action and problem-solving tools are in place in the area of production and technology.
9. Participation in environmental protection and health and safety inspection and cooperation with external control institutions, ensuring the implementation of post-inspection findings.
10. Supervising service provider (subcontractors) performed on the company’s premises and defining and dividing environmental and health and safety responsibilities between the Company and suppliers.
11. Waste segregations in accordance with applicable rules in this regard
12. Handling chemical substance in accordance with applicable rules in this regard.
13. Ensure reporting of non-compliance, failure and safety and environment protection hazards.
14. Cooperation with external suppliers and internal client.
15. Workflow reporting / KPI and taking corrective actions when deviations occur.
16. Control costs of the department.

Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar qualification.

- Minimum work experience of 8-10 years as a production manager in industrial environments, desirable in injection molding areas

- High level of English, written and spoken

- Soft skills: Team management, teamwork, collaboration, communication, assertiveness, leadership, initiative and innovation

- It will be highly considered knowledge in SAP, Hydra or other MES Systems, and improvement tools methodologies (5S, SMED, 6 Sigma, etc.)
