Job Description

At TAL, this role in this newly formed team helps bring meaningful improvements to the claims experience by coordinating initiatives that support better outcomes for customers, partners and our people. Working across teams, the role ensures change is delivered thoughtfully, embedded effectively and aligned to best practice claims management. By connecting stakeholders, supporting capability uplift and driving continuous improvement, this role plays an important part in helping TAL fulfil its purpose of protecting Australians and giving them confidence for the future when they need it most.

In this role you will:

  • Coordinate strategic initiatives and implementation activities to support successful change outcomes across TPD Claims.
  • Partner with stakeholders to align priorities, manage deliverables and drive business readiness.
  • Work with business stakeholders to coordinate overall TPD training program schedule.
  • Track initiative progress and provide meaningful reporting to enable informed decision-making and internal change and comms briefings.
  • Support the team with day to day administrative functions.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, governance and quality standards while delivering customer-focused outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Bring experience in life insurance or financial services, with an understanding of customer and business priorities.
  • Coordinate multiple initiatives effectively, balancing competing priorities to deliver outcomes on time.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders to support collaboration, engagement and successful change delivery.
  • Communicate clearly and confidently, keeping stakeholders informed and aligned through change.
  • Apply strong attention to detail to manage information accurately and support high-quality outcomes.
  • Demonstrate resilience, adaptability and a proactive approach to solving problems in a dynamic environment.
