UMG is currently seeking an eager and exceptional individual to join our Network Implementation Team. We are currently looking for an Infrastructure Technical Project Manager to add to our team. The position will be responsible for project ownership and delivery of IT infrastructure projects and for infrastructure aspects of Application projects. Requires project management, cross-IT coordination, business unit coordination, and vendor management to seamlessly migrate and expand offices, add/upgrade network services, and support network daily operations.
- Project Manage UMG Global Infrastructure projects
- Project Manage IT areas for offices additions, migrations, and expansions.
- Obtain quotes for hardware, software, and circuits from vendors based on BOMs provided by network teams
- Provide budgetary cost estimates for projects based on Engineer Develop T-Shirt Models
- Order hardware, software, and circuits based on approved quotes
- Coordinate circuit installation, delivery, and turnup
- Liase with business units to gather information on office additions, migrations, and expansions. Act as a coordinator, facilitator, and conduit between the business units and all IT organizations for these activities.
- Coordinate activities for all office additions, migrations, and expansions with all IT organizations
- Work with network teams to coordinate and schedule activities for all network projects
- Position will require travel and out of hours work to complete implementations as required
- Other tasks as deemed necessary or appropriate
- Project Management certification prefferred
- Extensive experience working with MS Word and Excel
- Understanding of purchasing and billing processes
- Ability to manage large scale multi year projects
- Extensive experience with project management tools
- Knowledge of network and cloud technologies a plus
- Solid written, oral, and interpersonal communications skills
- Teamplayer but also able to work independently
- Ability to multitask, organised, and able to prioritise
Experience:
- Experienced IT professional with 4+ years overall experience and minimum of 2 years as a implementation or project manager.
- Experience running large scale multi-orginizational projects (1 year minimum)
- Experience working with vendors to quote products and services, placing orders, and managing billing (2 years minimum)
- Experience with project management tools, Monday.com preferred (2 year minimum)
Education:
- BA or BS degree in an IT related field or an equivalent combination of formal education and applicable experience required
