WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
This position will be responsible for the implementation of the city infrastructure necessary for the Toyota Woven City demonstration project, from strategic planning to service planning and execution. As a mobility company, we are looking for people who can passionately draw innovation and solution roadmaps that will build “the future fabric of life in a city as a Test Course for Mobility” for the social issues we are tackling on a city-by-city basis. We expect you to make imaginative and logical proposals for the test course infrastructure needed to solve these issues.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Planning and execution of strategic capital investments in Woven City
- Planning and execution of improvements to installed capital investments
- Consensus building and coordination with internal and external stakeholders
- Specification requests to development teams
- Project management on time and within budget
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in project management or planning
- Logical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Proactive attitude to identify problems and work with stakeholders to solve them
- Communication skills to promote smooth work with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to explain ideas logically, not just sensibly
- Business-level Japanese language skills
- Daily conversation-level English skills Ability to communicate with internal and external stakeholders to promote business activities smoothly
NICE TO HAVES
- 5+ years of experience in project management and planning
- Experience catching up on knowledge in areas outside of your area of expertise
- Experience building consensus with executive level
- Experience developing and promoting new business plans
- Experience in passing investment decisions of a certain size within the company
