Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solutions (BEWS) is the group responsible for leading Ericsson's Enterprise Networking and Security business. How Will You Contribute to the Company?
The Consulting Sales Engineer, Private Cellular Network (PCN) is the Sales Team's premier subject matter expert in Private Wireless and is well-versed in 4G LTE, and 5G Mobile Telecommunication systems/architectures.
This specialist is responsible for working directly with customers, partners, and other SEs to support PCN opportunities and drive Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solution's revenue.
Additionally, this individual contributes to growing the overall expertise of the SE organization, has stewardship of/collaborates on PCN-related product feature requests with product management, and acts as a liaison for customers with the Ericsson Enterprise Wireless Solution's Product and Engineering Teams.
The ideal candidate is naturally curious, enjoys problem-solving, keeps up with the latest trends in Private Wireless and networking, and is unwavering in their pursuit of honing their craft.
What Will You Do?
  • Manage Private Wireless SE/Customer/Partner engagement through to completion
  • Develop labs, training, documentation, etc. on related products and features
  • Partner with sales executives with solution selling into assigned account base
  • Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare and execute strategic deals in complex sales cycles
  • Successfully match customer pain/requirements to proposed solutions
  • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the value proposition
  • Manage all technical aspects of RFP / RFI responses
  • Promote, conduct, and manage Proof of Concepts, trials, and demonstrations in the field
  • Document customer and industry use cases for internal and external use
  • Provide customers and prospects with hands-on configuration assistance and training
  • Effectively communicate client needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements
  • Collect and document competitive intelligence

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) supported by five to seven (5-7+) years of demonstrated technical success in pre-sales systems engineering in 3GPP cellular technologies
  • One to two (1-2) years of experience working with industry Private Wireless solutions and ecosystems
  • Strong knowledge of Private Wireless networks and their associated use cases including spectrum assets.
  • Experience from Cellular RAN products, network planning & deployments and RF Engineering / Design indoor and outdoor is a plus.
  • Experience from cellular network systems integration (SI), or managed services (MS) across RAN and Core Networks is a plus.
  • Strong experience from pre-sales technical solution selling to end customers.
  • Good understanding of private or public cloud design considerations like containerization, distributed systems, load balancing, LTE architecture
  • Familiarity with Enterprise network concepts, protocols, and solutions, such as routing and switching, security and VPN, LAN/WAN/SDWAN/SSE etc.
  • Ability to distill complex technical concepts into understandable language to any level of audience
  • Superior professional and communication skills including the ability to navigate ambiguous scenarios, resolve conflict, influence preconceptions, and overcome objections.
  • Confident self-starter with integrity and accountability; a track record of consistent achievement
  • A strong aptitude for business strategy and excellent collaboration skills
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, start-up, team-oriented environment
  • Experienced in delivering webinars and in person presentations at events and conferences.
  • Effectively bi-lingual with fluent Japanese as well as written and oral English skills
