About the Role
ESC is seeking a seasoned and proactive Infrastructure Manager to lead and optimize the company’s IT infrastructure and operations. Based in New Cairo, the Infrastructure Manager will be responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust, secure, and scalable IT systems across the organization. This role is critical in ensuring service reliability, network performance, and infrastructure resilience in alignment with ESC’s business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the planning, deployment, and management of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
Monitor and maintain the performance, availability, and security of infrastructure components.
Oversee system upgrades, patching cycles, and preventive maintenance.
Ensure business continuity through disaster recovery planning, backup solutions, and failover systems.
Collaborate with IT leadership on infrastructure strategy and project execution.
Manage vendor relationships and service contracts related to infrastructure services and equipment.
Supervise infrastructure and support teams, ensuring high-quality service delivery and performance standards.
Implement cybersecurity best practices across infrastructure components.
Optimize costs through capacity planning and resource forecasting.
Document architecture, processes, and changes to ensure operational transparency and compliance.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master’s or MBA is a plus).
Minimum 8–10 years of IT experience, including at least 4 years in infrastructure management or a similar leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of network architectures, firewalls, switches, VPNs, and security technologies.
Strong hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Proficiency in managing virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V) and storage systems.
Solid understanding of cybersecurity frameworks and incident response processes.
Experience with enterprise software ecosystems (ERP, CRM, HRMS).
Familiarity with DevOps, automation tools, and containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
Strong project management and vendor negotiation skills.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, Cisco, Microsoft, VMware, or similar) are highly desirable.
