The Infrastructure Engineering Manager provides strategic leadership and technical direction for all infrastructure-related initiatives. This role oversees engineering design, preventive maintenance planning, and documentation management for port facilities and civil structures.

Key Responsibilities:

Documentation and Drawing Management
- Maintain and update all as-built drawings, technical schematics, and asset registers related to port infrastructure.
- Ensure documentation is stored, categorized, and version-controlled within the technical database or document management system.
- Review and revise infrastructure drawings following modifications, maintenance, or construction works.
Engineering Design and Technical Support
- Prepare design concepts, technical drawings, and specifications for infrastructure renewal, repair, and development projects.
- Provide engineering input and calculations for structural, civil, and utility system improvements.
- Support the development of tender documentation, including Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and technical specifications.
Contractor and Project Oversight
- Conduct technical evaluations of contractor proposals, designs, and completed works.
- Participate in site inspections, ensuring compliance with design requirements, safety standards, and quality criteria.
- Coordinate with contractors during project execution to address technical issues or changes.
CAPEX and Condition Assessment Support
- Carry out infrastructure condition assessments to determine asset performance and remaining service life.
- Prepare technical reports and renewal forecasts to support capital expenditure (CAPEX) planning.
- Contribute engineering analysis to support decision-making on infrastructure investments.
Technical Knowledge Management
- Maintain and enhance the technical knowledge base related to port infrastructure systems and assets.
- Keep up to date with engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.
- Provide technical advice and assistance to other departments as required.

We Are Looking For:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Solid experience in infrastructure engineering, preferably in port/industrial facility projects.

Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software for technical drawings and schematics.

Familiarity with document management systems and version control processes.

Ability to prepare Bill of Quantities (BoQ) and technical specifications for tenders.

Experience in contractor oversight, site inspections, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Understanding of engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

Strong ability to collaborate with internal departments and external contractors; excellent reporting and documentation skills.
