Under broad supervision, you will reconcile and adjust general ledger accounts and/or bank statements. You may also perform moderately complex analyses of performance results. In addition, you will compile, consolidate, and analyze accounting and finance information for financial statements and reports and perform other special projects as assigned.
How you will contribute
You will:
- Support the month-end closing process and help analyze and resolve issues as they arise.
- Ensure monthly, quarterly, and annual activities are completed accurately and timely.
- Review balance sheet account reconciliations for potential risks.
- Ensure fixed assets activities are completed accurately and timely.
- Help identify and lead projects to support accounting process improvements.
- Assist in the monthly governance process by identifying and communicating gaps.
- Ensure company policies are adhered to for all transactions.
- Assist in the monthly/yearly tax return preparation.
- Support Internal/External Audit and Internal controls team with ad hoc accounting information and SOX controls documentation.
- Support other ad hoc tasks/projects as assigned.
What you will bring
A desire to drive your future and accelerate your career. You will bring experience and knowledge in:
- TECHNICAL EXPERTISE in accounting and external reporting including understanding U.S. GAAP, IFRS or local GAAP, close processes and financial reporting systems (SAP experience preferred). Knowledge in policy, controls and compliance design including SOX reporting
- BUSINESS ACUMEN and experience working in FMCG/CPG Industry or Big Four accounting preferred
- LEADERSHIP SKILLS including proven business partnering and communication skills. Experience working as a finance leader managing cross-functional and business partner teams to drive timely and accurate results
- GROWTH/DIGITAL MINDSET and the ability to leverage technology to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools and financial system knowledge
- INTEGRITY and sound judgement in all decisions and interactions aligned with our values, policies and external regulations

Job specific requirements:
- Bachelor of Science and/or Business degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of accounting experience
- Strong experience in account analysis with a background in Tax Returns preparation
- Strong team player who manages collaboratively with all stakeholders
- Strong influencing and communication skills, and ability to lead informal teams.
- Strong Excel skills, and ability to handle/analyze large amounts of complex data.
- Technical skills, problem solving, and a challenging assertive approach.
- Ability to work with details/understand business implications.
