We’re looking for an Infrastructure Engineering Manager to join our dynamic team in Prague and help drive our infrastructure strategy forward.
What You’ll DoAs our Infrastructure Engineering Manager, you’ll lead a team of skilled engineers responsible for delivering and evolving our Managed IaaS services across both on-premise and AWS cloud environments. You’ll play a key role in our hybrid cloud transformation, ensuring our platforms are secure, scalable, and future-ready.
Your responsibilities will include
Lead and mentor a team of infrastructure engineers responsible for delivering Managed IaaS services across on-premise and AWS cloud platforms.
Own the product vision for Managed IaaS, define the roadmap, and prioritize features and improvements based on business needs and technical strategy.
Drive the transformation from traditional on-prem infrastructure to a modern, scalable hybrid cloud platform.
Collaborate cross-functionally with enterprise architects, security teams, DevOps, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery of high-impact solutions.
Ensure operational excellence by managing service delivery, SLAs, and vendor relationships.
Promote engineering best practices, including automation, infrastructure-as-code, and continuous improvement.
Who you will work with
Your teams consist of 15-20 engineers in total each with their own technical expertise. You are part of the Managed IAAS core team where you, together with the Product Manager, peer PO’s and Domain Architect work on the continuous improvement of the services delivered by the Private Cloud.
Additionally, you report via a dotted line to the Head of Engineering in the Netherlands who will help you in developing the engineers in your team.
What you bring
We’re looking for a strong technical leader with a product mindset. You should have:
Proven experience managing and developing high-performing technical teams.
A solid background in infrastructure engineering (servers, storage, networking) and cloud platforms (especially AWS).
Experience acting as a Product Owner or working closely with product teams in an agile environment.
Familiarity with CI/CD, automation tools, and security standards.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Fluency in English (spoken and written).
