Responsibilities
- Monitor server health and system performance to ensure uptime and reliability for critical building systems
- Perform routine server maintenance, including patching, updates and backups, with a focus on minimizing disruptions to critical operations
- Administer Windows server and Linux environments and related server applications
- Perform general technical troubleshooting and give consultation to development teams. Support incident discussion and resolution.
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation on configurations, changes and standard operating procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors and service providers for software and hardware support
- Participate in incident response and emergency procedures related to studio building management systems
- Participate in capacity planning in regard to user hardware and software
- Coordinate and maintain local studio IT infrastructure and communications, collaborating with global IT and studio management on server room upkeep and building modifications
- Mentor junior IT sysadmin engineers
- Collaborate with international IT team in system development, testing and release
- Support network, security, and Linux teams in their operations
- Onboard and offboard users
- Provide support for users in all studio locations
- Manage inventory and assets
- Manage backup and storage infrastructure
Requirements
- Experience with ITSM
- Knowledge of Windows Systems (Client and Server)
- Experienced in Cloud infrastructure AWS/AZURE
- Experience with Intune deployment
- Troubleshooting skills
- Experience managing a virtualized infrastructure
- Experience with Google Workplace, Office365, Atlassian Suite
- Understanding of networking concepts (WAN,LAN,TCP/IP,VPN,VLAN)
- Ability to work flexible hours around infrastructure upgrades and migrations
- This is a full-time, on-site role, requiring your presence in the office to support collaboration
Nice to have
- Basic knowledge of public cloud environments like AWS, Azure
- Experience administering Dell server hardware
- Experience in automation and deployment tools
- Experience with version control systems (Git, Perforce)
- Experience with backup software (Commvault, Veeam, Netbackup)
