Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure Platform Engineer to join our enterprise technology team. This role is responsible for operational support of complex infrastructure platforms and services, and requires proficiency across application, compute, network, and cloud-relevant technologies.
 You will play a critical role - supporting reliable, scalable, and secure technology solutions, while partnering with architecture, engineering, and business teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and operational excellence.

Job Description

What you’ll do:

  • Principal operational support resource for complex infrastructure solutions across hybrid environments 

  • Perform advanced analysis, performance tuning, and root cause troubleshooting 

  • Ensure adherence to change, incident, and problem management processes 

  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including standards, procedures, and architecture diagrams 

  • Drive improvements in automation, monitoring, and observability 

  • Support enterprise patching and vulnerability management efforts 

  • Collaborate with engineering teams, architects, and business stakeholders to improve operational readiness and service reliability 

  • Contribute to governance and support models across private, public, and hybrid cloud platforms 

  • Mentor team members and provide technical leadership across initiatives 

 

Required Technical Experience:

  • Strong experience with Web and Application Server platforms 

  • Hands-on expertise in JVM administration, monitoring, and performance tuning 

  • Experience with message queuing technologies (e.g., IBM MQ or equivalent) 

  • Knowledge of PKI and machine identity management 

  • Experience with container platforms (OpenShift, EKS, ROSA) 

  • Understanding of server load balancing (SLB) concepts and administration 

  • Familiarity with infrastructure automation and scripting strategies 

What We're Looking For:

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related technical field is required.

Experience:

  • 7 years of relevant work experience is required.
  • An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in hybrid cloud environments 

  • Exposure to enterprise-scale monitoring and operational support models 

  • Proficiency with observability tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk

Compensation Range:

$98,993.00 - $128,688.00
