As an Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll take the lead on designing intuitive, self-service database products that make all the difference to our customers, as well as our strategic targets. This is a fantastic opportunity to advance your career in a highly innovative and supportive environment.
You’ll collaborate with product owners to create roadmaps and manage the lifecycle, taking customer feedback, new feature requests and production issues into consideration. As you continue to manage the selection, creation and maintenance of database-related technologies, you’ll ensure that our solutions comply with the bank’s requirements and responsibilities.
You’ll also:
- Identify new ways to solve problems and enhance performance using tech tools
- Provide operational support for pattern or product-related issues, and contribute to the delivery of infrastructure as code solutions
- Build awareness of design-thinking tools and techniques across the bank to improve products
- Work with key stakeholders to ensure that we continue to deliver the best possible service
To thrive in this role, you’ll have experience in software development or automation scripting, such as Python or Shell. You’ll be knowledgeable about the software development lifecycle, with experience of utilising modern infrastructure as code via tooling.
We’ll expect you to bring a good understanding of Agile working practices and toolsets, with the ability to create the vision for the Release Train, feature team, platform and domain.
In addition, you’ll have:
- Advanced knowledge of Network Security technologies & have expert level experience on F5 web application security and traffic management technologies such as LTM, DNS & AWAFs
- Knowledge of Avi and nginx Load Balancer technologies
- Advanced knowledge of Web application architecture, Distributed/ Denial of Services attack, Layer -7 application attack
- Operational experience of running a large scale Network environment Knowledge of Service Management disciplines such as Incident, Problem, Change IT, Continuity and Capacity
- Strong collaborative and communication skills, and the ability to articulate technical concepts clearly
