Summary
The Infrastructure Engineer I-II is a role that sits at the core of our enterprise infrastructure. With minimal supervisions, this position supports critical systems and services including Active Directory, Office 365, Type 1 Hypervisors, Presentation Systems, and network/storage infrastructure. This position requires a strong technical foundation and is ready to take ownership of mid-level projects while collaborating with senior engineers on complex initiatives.
Essential Functions
- Manage and maintain enterprise infrastructure systems including Active Directory, Office 365, presentation systems, and Type 1 Hypervisors.
- Assist in implementing and supporting Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies and contribute to the execution of a Data-Centric Security Architecture.
- Participate in the design and configuration of LAN/WAN networks and tiered network storage solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues across servers, networks, and virtualization platforms.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and capacity, and perform routine tuning as needed.
- Collaborate with security, applications, and support teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with organizational needs and best practices.
- Document infrastructure procedures, system configurations, and updates.
- Support infrastructure-related projects, upgrades, and migrations.
- Provide Tier 2/Tier 3 support and escalate issues appropriately.
- Coordinate configuration and deployment of virtual servers, web servers, storage arrays, firewalls, and switches.
- Assist Network team with the design, configuration, implementation and administration of LAN and WAN to include components such as switches, routers, links, cabling, operating systems.
- Manage backup systems for network servers including replication to off-site DR datacenter, and backup retention based on audit standards.
- Provide routine to advanced technical support for telecommunications and related equipment and software.
- Maintain accurate records for hardware and software inventory, maintenance, and registration, ensuring compliance with software licensing.
- Diagnose and resolve simple or complex network and server problems to ensure minimal disruption of mission-critical systems and applications.
- Communicates resolution timeline with internal customers, including follow-up communication.
- Aid in upkeeping of the business continuity and disaster recovery plans and maintains current knowledge of plan executables.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure engineering or systems administration.
- Hands-on experience with: Active Directory (user/group administration, GPOs, domain services), Office 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint administration), Presentation systems for application and desktop delivery, Type 1 Hypervisors, Network storage (SAN/NAS concepts and basic management), LAN/WAN networks (basic design, configuration, and troubleshooting), and DLP policies and basic data security awareness
- Progress toward certifications such as MCSA/MCSE, VMware VCP, Citrix CCA-V/CCP-V, or Network+.
- Experience with hybrid cloud environments (Azure, AWS) is a plus.
- Familiarity with automation/scripting (PowerShell, Python).
- Exposure to infrastructure monitoring tools (e.g., SolarWinds, Netwrix, WhatsUp Gold, Dynatrace).

Work Location
This is an on-site position at our Corporate Headquarters in Yuba City, CA.
Compensation Range
The company anticipates offering an hourly range between $32.17 and $64.05 for this position at the time of hire. This range includes base salary (or hourly wages) and does not include possible overtime for non-exempt employees or any applicable performance-based incentives or commissions.
Annual Merit Increase
Employees are eligible for a discretionary yearly merit-based salary adjustment, based on individual performance and company results.
