As an Infrastructure Engineer at Civica, you will play a critical role in maintaining, redesigning, and building robust infrastructure platforms that enable seamless delivery of systems for our customers and software teams.

What you will do to be successful in this role
- Maintain on-premises infrastructure, ensuring systems are compliant, well-maintained, and fit for purpose to deliver reliable services to end customers.
- Work across both internal and customer-facing systems, ensuring high levels of performance, reliability, security, and scalability.
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues in a timely and effective manner, minimizing service disruption.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing technical guidance and support to colleagues across teams.
- Proactively develop and promote best practices, driving continuous improvements and recommending future enhancements to infrastructure and services.
- Support the Production Operations team with routine operational activities, ensuring smooth day-to-day system performance.
If you have experience with the below skills, we’d love to hear from you:
- Data and storage provisioning and management
- Disaster Recovery technologies and methodologies
- Strong working knowledge of Cisco network technologies
- Exposure to or experience with DevOps methodologies
- Windows Server administration, including Active Directory
- VMWare (ESXi) virtualization
- Core Microsoft technologies such as MS SQL, DNS, and RDS
- Citrix technologies
- Avamar backup and recovery solutions
You bring a collaborative mindset, act as a trusted technical advisor to colleagues, and continuously look for opportunities to improve systems and processes. Experience working in a 24x7 or globally distributed environment will be an added advantage.
