About The Role
This role supports the overall Windows environment of the company with a focus on his monitoring and the automation of our technical services. The monitoring tool is SCOM, and it uses to monitor our technical services and the applications. You’ll be working with highly skilled colleagues in supporting existing infrastructure but also to develop and create new solutions as required. Our technical platforms are constantly evolving so there is opportunity to learn a lot of new things and to be able to influence the design and technical solutions for this environment. You’ll also work with the other international teams within IT Infrastructure Services with the opportunity to make a difference in the organization.
What You Will Do

Manage within a group of experts the Vmware infrastructure, based on 280 ESXis and more 3000 VMs over 120 sites,

Administer and support technical services for internal stakeholders, focusing on backup, monitoring, and security.

Participate in 3rd line support, handling troubleshooting and problem-solving for our solutions.

Translate logical designs into practical implementations.

Offer expertise to projects, solution owners, and application developers.

Suggest improvements and share insights with colleagues.

Required Education and Experience

High knowledge on the SCOM administration (creation of the manage pack, creation of monitoring for a new/existing application, updates),

High knowledge in the creation of PowerShell script to automate our processes (Installation of Windows Servers, Decommission of a Windows Server, creation of Snapshots),

Good knowledge on the Squared-up application and the integration with SCOM,

Good knowledge on the Windows and VMware system administration,

Some years of experience in IT infrastructure or equivalent studies in this area. However, for this position we like to encourage and welcome all applicants no matter length of previous experiences.
Meriting Skills

HPE Servers and related technologies,

Cloud hosting platforms such as Microsoft Azure and Amazon AWS,

Agile methodologies like Kanban or similar,

Experience from working in large, global organizations.
Language Requirements
English is required.
