About the Role
We are seeking an experienced 3PP Infrastructure & System Administration Specialist to join our System Integration (SI) delivery team for the SA BOS Project. In this pivotal role, you will design, deploy, and manage third-party infrastructure solutions, ensuring seamless delivery and operational excellence throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage HPE and EMC server and storage infrastructure solutions within SI delivery frameworks Configure and administer HPE Synergy servers and Alletra storage platforms aligned with project specifications
Install, configure, and maintain VMware virtualization environments (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi) or alternative
Ensure optimal performance and high availability across all infrastructure components
Administer Red Hat Linux systems, including patching, hardening, and performance tuning
Perform capacity planning, health monitoring, and proactive maintenance of infrastructure
Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues with minimal downtime
Develop comprehensive technical documentation including Low-Level Design (LLD), High-Level Design (HLD), SOPs, and runbooks
Create and maintain automation scripts and Ansible playbooks to streamline operations and improve efficiency
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or equivalent
8-10 years of hands-on infrastructure administration and SI delivery experience
Proven expertise in designing and deploying HPE and EMC-based solutions in enterprise or telecom environments
Mandatory Technical Skills: HPE Server Infrastructure, EMC Storage Solutions, VMware (vSphere, vCenter, ESXi),
Strong communication abilities (verbal and written)
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight project deadlines
Work independently and in globally distributed team environments
Preferred Qualifications
HPE Synergy and Alletra storage platform expertise Scripting proficiency (Shell, Python)
Ansible automation knowledge
Telecom domain experience (BSS/OSS, BOS environments)
ITIL practices and incident/change management understanding
Prior experience with international client delivery
Familiarity with SA BOS project frameworks or similar telecom delivery models
Relevant certifications (HPE, VMware, Red Hat, EMC)
