Job Title: IT Infrastructure Support Specialist – IT Services (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Lebanon, Indiana, US ---(Onsite)

Job Overview:

  • Coordinate with other Client groups and vendors regarding requirements, operating system requirements, additional hardware requirements and costs  
  • Create strategy and plan to provide qualified infrastructure platforms, and be able to execute the defined plan.  
  • Perform Cybersecurity assessments according to enterprise and organizational requirements  
  • Train end user(s) on the operations of new equipment, workstation software, networking, etc  
  • Troubleshooting problems on platforms including; Citrix, RealVNC, VDI, Linux, MacOs, Windows OS, iGel technology and other workstation connected hardware as well as Telecom.  
  • Experience in configuring DNS, NTP, Proxy, etc, for MQ workstations.
  • Consultant for questions regarding infrastructure, compatibility, backup, and configuration issues  
  • Provide strategy for immediate and future upgrades/patching of hardware and software applications   
  • Providing supporting documentation for validation and testing of upgrades   
  • Drive the validation of new and existing systems by providing technical design information to assure GMP data integrity   

 As an Infrastructure Integrator your main function is leading the efforts to successfully implement and support the LP1 site infrastructure including but not limited to business and manufacturing workstations, peripherals, printers, telecom, and others. The role will support multiple business groups such as Manufacturing Operations, Supply Chain, Quality, Engineering, Technical services/Manufacturing Science. The resource will also participate in ad-hoc site infrastructure projects and ensure enterprise and organizational cybersecurity practices are followed.  Finally, this role is also expected to implement and manage service management for the tech infrastructure at client location, including driving efforts for periodic service reviews, with the intent to drive continuous service improvements

Requirements

Required Skills and Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

· Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or end-user support, preferably within the pharma manufacturing industry.

· Proficiency with Windows/Linux environments, Citrix, and remote desktop tools.

· Understanding of validated systems, GxP/GMP compliance, and pharma quality frameworks.

· Strong skills in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware, software, and peripherals in production settings.

· Familiarity with telecom systems, RFID devices, and industrial IT equipment.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to operate independently and in a team.

· Commitment to adhering to safety and quality assurance standards.


Preferred Qualifications:

· Prior experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing or lab environment.

· Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional, or similar.

· Familiarity with ITIL processes, lab informatics systems, or MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems).

· Working knowledge of validation documentation practices in pharma (IQ, OQ, PQ).



Skills Required
