Experience:

o 10+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on automation and tools.

o Strong hands-on experience with automation tools like Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, Chef, or similar and also Scripting experience with Python, Shell scripting, Power shell o Experience with Integration automation solution in IT Landscape

o Expertise in monitoring solutions (e.g., PRTG, Prometheus, Nagios, or SolarWinds).

o Experience in ITSM tools (SNOW, ManageEngine, BMC Remedy, Jira)

o Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools like Terraform and CloudFormation


Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure – Tool and Automation Architect to drive the design, implementation, and optimization of automation tools and frameworks within our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of IT operations, automation technologies, cloud services, and infrastructure monitoring tools. You will be responsible for architecting solutions that streamline operational tasks, reduce manual intervention, and increase overall efficiency.

This role will require close collaboration with IT operations, development, and other cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless and automated infrastructure environment.


Key Responsibilities:

Implement Automation Soution: Design and develop scalable automation frameworks to streamline infrastructure management, including provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.


Tool Selection and Integration: Evaluate, select, and integrate the best-in-class tools for IT infrastructure monitoring, automation, configuration management, and incident response (e.g., Ansible, PRTG, Prometheus, Jenkins, etc.).


Process Automation: Automate routine tasks such as patch management, deployment, system upgrades, monitoring, and incident handling to reduce manual interventions.


Cloud Infrastructure Management:Design automation processes for cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms, focusing on hybrid and multi-cloud environments. (Optional)


Monitoring and Observability:Implement and manage enterprise-level monitoring solutions for IT infrastructure, ensuring visibility into system performance, availability, and capacity.


DevOps Collaboration:Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate infrastructure automation with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous delivery and operations.


Security Compliance Automation:Develop automation solutions to ensure infrastructure meets security and compliance standards, including regular patching, audits, and vulnerability scans.


Documentation and Standards: Define architecture best practices, document processes, and ensure infrastructure tools and automation systems are properly maintained and accessible.


Innovation: Stay updated with the latest technology trends in automation, AI-driven infrastructure management, and infrastructure as code (IaC), identifying opportunities for their application.

Technical Skills:

o Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) and adoption of GenAI platforms

o Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).

o Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

o Solid understanding of network, server, and storage infrastructure.


Soft Skills:

o Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on automation and operational efficiency.

o Strong communication and collaboration skills to work across teams and functions.

o Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deliver results in a dynamic environment.


Certifications:

o IT Certification Python, Ansible, LINUX, Kubernetes

Qualifications

BE, BTech, BCA, BSc (IT) MCA, MBA (IT) and MSc(IT)
