Altera is seeking a highly skilled Senior Infrastructure and DevOps Lab/HPC Engineer to play a pivotal role in managing and optimizing our lab and HPC environments. This position is crucial for ensuring the efficiency, scalability, and security of our computing infrastructure, while driving innovation through advanced DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in HPC systems, lab management, and infrastructure automation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage HPC and lab environments to support complex engineering and research workloads.
- Develop and optimize automation tools and processes to enhance operational efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and compatibility of Lab/HPC systems with existing infrastructure.
- Monitor and troubleshoot HPC and lab systems to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to drive continuous improvement and innovation in HPC and lab environments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in HPC systems management, lab infrastructure, and DevOps practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels.
