During your industrial placement, you will get real responsibility from Day1 and be expected to dive straight in, take ownership of real projects and lead them to completion. You will also receive first-hand experience of what a career in IT within a large corporate environment like P&G involves and find out if it is right for you.
Key Accountabilities:
- Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to identify, understand, and define high-impact opportunities for the application of technology.
- Architect and build intelligent production solutions to identified opportunities utilising the optimal data engineering toolset; with a focus on Agentic AI.
Each intern receives a customized learning plan to ensure they get the right levels of coaching, mentoring and training as they deliver their work.

Placements are available in our offices in Newcastle (Longbenton) and Weybridge (Surrey) (an easy commute from London with regular trains from Waterloo & Clapham Junction). A limited number of placements may also be available in Manufacturing sites, typically our London Plant (West Thurrock, Essex)

- Full Time Role: Successful interns have the potential to secure a full-time IT management position with P&G after graduation. Job Qualifications
What We Look For:- You are studying for or already have a Bachelor or Master Degree in a quantitative field (Computer Science, Engineering, Applied Math, Statistics, Analytics etc.).
- You have an experimental, iterative approach and are excited by the challenge of pioneering new solutions in ambiguous environments. A deep curiosity for autonomous AI and its practical application would be particularly useful.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to partner with non-technical stakeholders, understand business challenges, and translate them into technical requirements.
- A proactive, self-motivated attitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Fluency in English (written and oral).
Start Date:
The 12-month industrial placement is available from 5th July 2027 until 13th June 2028. We expect you to be available for the full duration.
Right to Work
For our placement roles, you will need to provide your own right to work in the UK for the full duration of your placement without requiring sponsorship from P&G. Note, this will require your right to work permission to be valid between 5th July 2027 until 13th June 2028 for a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.
