We are looking for IT Operations & Software Technology Specialist to join our plant in Cantabria.

Your Role:

The  IT Operations & Sofware Technology Specialist will act as a key link between the IT department and the plant’s operations, ensuring the implementation of effective technological solutions that support business needs. This role will involve managing and coordinating IT infraestructure and software develoment projects. Also, coordinate day-to-day IT operations that enhance efficiency of the plant, drive digitalization, and improve manufacturing processes. Working with us will provide you with exposure to diverse technical challenges and cross-functional collaboration with international teams and partners.

What You'll Do:

  • Act as the main link between IT and plant operations, ensuring alignment between business needs and technological solutions.

  • Lead and manage IT projects focused on improving operational efficiency, process automation, and digital transformation within the manufacturing environment.

  • Participate in the integration and optimization of SAP systems, cloud infrastructure (AWS), and cybersecurity frameworks to support business continuity and performance. Some of the technologies to be use are:

- ERP: SAP (logistics and manufactuirng)

- Server infrastructure: Virtualization and backup (local and cloud)

- Development:.Net, Java, Python, DevOps, CI/CD (continous integration)

- Cloud: AWS (Amazon Web Services)

- Data & Analytics: Oracle, SQLServer, Postgre, Power BI, Tableau,Grafana.

- IoT (Internet of Things): Kepserver, Nifi, MQTT, Lorawan.

- AI: Machine Learning.

- ITIL: SNOW

- Project Management: JIRA

  • High-quality applications and infrastructure services for the plant.

  • Gather and analyse business requirements, identifying opportunities for improvement and translating them into practical technology initiatives.

  • Collaborate closely with the cross-functional and international IT teams, covering areas such as infrastructure, software, information security, engineering, and enterprise integration.

  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement and learning staying up to date with new technologies and digital tools that can bring value to the business.

What we're looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, telecommunications, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role from a software develoment or IT infraestructure background.  

  • Solid technical background with hands-on experience, ideally combining operational support and project management.

  • Strong interest in technology, innovation and continuous learning.

  • Understanding of modern IT systems, infrastructures, and delivery frameworks (e.g., cloud environments, cybersecurity, digitalization tools).

  • Assist in the design and implementation of new software solutions.

  • Knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) is preferred.

  • Proactive and pragmatic problem-solving mindset, with the ability to make decisions and take measured risks when needed.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to work effectively across departments and multicultural teams.

  • Strong analytical and data-driven thinking to identify opportunities for improvement.

  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in dynamic environments.

  • Eligible to live and work in Spain at the time of hire.

  • Fluent in Spanish and upper-intermediate English (B2 level or higher).

Key benefits:

You will be entitled to 30 days of annual vacation plus 6 floating days per year. The company offers flexible working hours (start and end time) and summer reduced working schedule. You will also have the possibility to work remotely one day per week.
