Within Business Unit Professional Systems and Services it’s your job to industrialize (semi) automated testing for our professional IoT hardware. We operate in various segments (Office, industry, public) where we deliver best in class systems to serve our customers globally.
As an Industrial Test Engineer you will :
- Fully managing the test activities within assigned NPI (new product introductions) projects for Professional Systems & Services
- Ensure proper Design for Test with optimal test-coverage, programmability by early participation early in the NPI projects with (pre-)development
- driving force in Identifying and feedback possible improvements in product design or test process according local and subcon test results
- Be responsible for implementing product changes in tester hard- and/or software
- Actively participate in the development of global test roadmaps (equipment/strategy) on structural, functional and reliability testing.
- Maintain frequent contacts with colleagues within divisions and outside Signify, other R&D and knowledge centers, subcons and test equipment suppliers, in order to be able to initiate improvements in testing processes, equipment, strategy.

What you’ll do
- managing the industrialization program wrt industrial test engineering at European contract manufacturers in time and in full.
- Support the Roll out Design for manufacturing program for your projects
Your qualifications
- A degree in Electrical engineering or equivalent experience with +5 yrs experience in product development
- Take ownership and responsibility for projects within the field of existing product improvements.
- Clear in communication (fluent English verbal and writing required)
- Lead and execute a project from start to end (specifications to implementation)
- Experience and knowledge of Labview, CVI and TestStand are mandatory. Experience and knowledge in other languages (C#, python, etc.) are beneficial.
