This role may offer the opportunity to work fully remote while supporting enterprise-level initiatives and high-visibility web development needs.

The successful candidate will be a critical thinker and creative technical problem-solver who can design, test and improve intuitive digital experiences. This individual will collaborate with stakeholders, user experience and design teams, and technical teams to translate business requirements into scalable, accessible and responsive SharePoint solutions.

As the organization evolves its use of standard SharePoint capabilities and governed site-creation practices, this role will balance out-of-the-box configuration, low-code automation and custom development to address increasingly complex business needs.

The role includes developing and maintaining modern SharePoint sites, pages, lists and web parts to improve the overall digital experience. Candidates should have experience customizing front-end SharePoint and developing solutions with Power Automate and Power Apps.

  • Assess requirements and recommend the appropriate use of standard SharePoint features, configuration, low-code tools or custom development.
  • Maintain and enhance existing solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, and improve usability, performance and maintainability.
  • Help business users make effective use of standard SharePoint capabilities and avoid unnecessary custom development.

Stakeholder Engagement and Solution Delivery

  • Engage stakeholders to understand business needs, gather requirements and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Translate requirements into practical technical designs and recommend appropriate solution approaches.
  • Demonstrate proposed solutions, gather feedback and incorporate user needs throughout development.
  • Manage development activities through design, testing, implementation, documentation and ongoing support.
  • Communicate technical considerations, risks and recommendations clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Maintain solution documentation and follow established standards for quality, accessibility, security and change management.
