The Role
About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking an Information Security Analyst to support our Corporate & Investment Banking Team. The Information Security Analyst serves as a frontline resource embedded within the business, responsible for managing user-facing cybersecurity controls and educating employees on cyber defense practices. This role bridges operational needs with enterprise security policies, ensuring that business users are supported in navigating security protocols while maintaining compliance and reducing risk.
In this role, you will:
  • Review and process requests related to website and email blocking, including exceptions for business-critical domain.
  • Coordinate entitlement requests and SIMBA ticket submissions for federated domain access and email size exceptions
  • Support remediation efforts for blocked communications and misdirected emails
  • Partner with control teams to assess and mitigate risks related to printing, file transfers, and messaging platforms
  • Monitor and respond to DLP alerts and incidents, including outbound transmissions containing sensitive data.
  • Act as a liaison to the Insider Threat Program (ITP), contributing to risk assessments and mitigation strategies
  • Analyze leaver events and escalate concerns tied to high-risk activities such as unauthorized printing or data exfiltration.
  • Facilitate access to external platforms required for client engagement, ensuring proper justification and compliance with InfoSec policies
  • Develop and deliver training materials to business users on secure practices, including email hygiene, data handling, and device usage
  • Clarify policy language and ensure alignment with conduct expectations, especially around mobile and messaging platform.
  • Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives
  • Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management
Required Qualifications:
  • 2+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in business-side information security, risk management, or compliance.
  • Familiarity with enterprise tools such as SIMBA, AIMS, and federated access systems.
  • Strong understanding of DLP, insider threat indicators, and email/web filtering technologies.
  • Ability to translate technical controls into business-friendly guidance.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Job Expectations:
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
  • Ability to work outside of regular business hours
  • Visa sponsorship is not available

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$77,000.00 - $145,000.00
