You will be part of the global Cybersecurity team and your primary focus will be Security Operations and Incident Response.
WHAT YOU WILL EXPERIENCE IN THIS POSITION:
Leadership
• Provide leadership and direction to the India based members of the Cybersecurity and Incident Response team
• Establish Security Operations practices for investigation documentation, review and lessons learned identification
• Mentor Cybersecurity and Incident Response team members and support professional development
• Manage ongoing operational effectiveness metrics and reporting
• Lead Cybersecurty Incident Response activities during local business hours
Cybersecurity Incident Response
• Provide guidance and oversight of cybersecurity investigations, containment and remediation actions
• Facilitate cross-functional coordination to enable speed and accuracy of incident response actions
• Conduct post investigation review cycles to ensure consistency and effectiveness of the investigation process
• Manage cybersecurity event root cause identification, recommendation and remediation tracking
• Lead Detection engineering processes and review
Readiness and Continuous Improvement
• Monitor threat intelligence, attacker techniques and industry trends to maintain awareness of relevant and emerging cyber threats
• Lead tabletop exercises, training and post incident review to strengthen preparedness across the team and the organization
• Identify and develop recommendations for continuous process improvement
• Participate in Incident Response long-term strategic planning and processes maturity reviews
YOU HAVE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Compute Science, Information Technology or related field
• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity incident response in a global organization
• 3+ years leading a Security Operations Center at a global company
• Experience in detection design and development
• Experience developing and improving cybersecurity playbooks
• Expertise with
o Endpoint Detection and Response solutions
o Security Information Event Management solutions
o Forensic investigations and evidence handling
o Cloud computing platforms
