Information Assurance Specialist
Location: Washington, DC
Must have an active Secret Security Clearance
Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related technical discipline
Required Certifications:
Current DoW 8570/8140 Certification: Must meet Information Assurance Management (IAM) Level II and Information or Information Assurance Technical (IAT) II baseline requirements [e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Security+ CE (Continuing Education), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner (CASP)+CE]
Requirements
Years of Experience:
- Five (5) years of dedicated Information Assurance experience, with at least three (3) of those being consecutive.
- Consecutive Experience: Required three (3) consecutive years of experience relevant to the tasks and demonstrating recent (within the last year) hands-on understanding of the DoW cybersecurity environment.

Skills Required
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Current DoW 8570/8140 certification meeting IAM Level II and IAT II baseline requirements
- One qualifying certification, such as CISSP, Security+ CE, CISM, or CASP+ CE
- Five years of dedicated Information Assurance experience
- At least three consecutive years of relevant Information Assurance experience
- Recent hands-on understanding of the DoW cybersecurity environment within the last year
- Active Secret Security Clearance
