🚀 What You’ll Do
🛡️ Infection Control
  • Provide infection control education during employee orientation and reinforce expectations related to infection prevention practices.
  • Conduct routine infection control rounds throughout assigned areas.
  • Identify infection control concerns, gaps, or needed follow-up during rounds.
  • Communicate findings to appropriate leaders and departments.
  • Coordinate and follow up on corrective actions until needs are addressed.
  • Maintain accurate records of infection control rounds, findings, recommendations, and completed follow-up.
  • Support ongoing infection prevention initiatives, audits, and regulatory compliance activities.
💉 Employee Health
  • Track and maintain accurate employee health records in accordance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
  • Monitor employee health documentation, required screenings, immunizations, testing, and expiration or renewal dates.
  • Audit employee health records for completeness and compliance.
  • Follow up with employees and leaders regarding missing, incomplete, or overdue documentation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and secure handling of employee health information.
  • Coordinate immunization clinics and related health services for staff and clients.
  • Maintain documentation of immunization clinics, participation, and completed services.
📋 Nursing Compliance & Records Management
  • Conduct audits of nursing compliance documentation and related processes.
  • Track laboratory orders and results to ensure timely completion and follow-up.
  • Scan and file laboratory results and other clinical documentation into the appropriate section of the electronic health record.
  • Track outside-provider appointments and ensure appointment paperwork, consult notes, test results, and recommendations are placed in the appropriate medical record.
  • Identify missing or incomplete documentation and coordinate timely resolution.
  • Maintain organized tracking systems, logs, and audit records.
  • Assist with preparation for internal reviews, surveys, audits, and regulatory inspections.
📦 Supply & Inventory Management
  • Monitor supplies for expiration dates and remove or report expired items according to policy.
  • Review inventory levels and identify supplies that are low or require replenishment.
  • Order replacement supplies in a timely manner.
  • Maintain supply-ordering records and assist with appropriate inventory control.
  • Communicating supply needs, shortages, and expiration concerns appropriate leadership.
🤝 Team Collaboration & Professional Responsibilities
  • Collaborate effectively with providers, nursing staff, ancillary services, laboratories, pharmacies, outside providers, and organizational leadership.
  • Maintain professional communication and timely follow-up on assigned responsibilities.
  • Protect confidential patient and employee information.
  • Follow all organizational policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations.
  • Participate in quality improvement and patient-safety initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
