ABOUT THIS JOB
This is an entry-level / early-career role with structured onboarding and close collaboration with senior colleagues. In this role, you will work closely with manufacturer clients in the FMCG sector, helping them better understand their business, markets, and opportunities through NielsenIQ insights.
As an Industry Insight Analyst, you will learn how to support client decision-making, turn data into clear stories, and build long‑term customer relationships — all with the guidance of experienced colleagues and structured training.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Client support & relationships
· Managing manufacturer relationships (with support)
· Develop a good understanding of clients’ businesses and needs
· Participate in client meetings, governance calls, and follow-ups
· Help monitor customer satisfaction and key health metrics (e.g. NPS)
Insights & analysis
· Use NielsenIQ tools to analyze market, category, and customer data and solve clients’ business questions
· During the briefing process, field business questions and be able to ask clarifying questions & discuss analyses/metrics best suited to answer requests
· Translate analyses into clear, actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders
· Contribute to Tought Leadership projects
· Contribute to NIQ and client Joint Business Plans by supporting analysis and tracking progress
Collaboration & growth
· Identify potential client needs during day-to-day interactions and identify and share revenue opportunities with Account Development
· Act as a voice of the customer by escalating data quality or reporting needs
· Continuously develop your consulting and communication skills through coaching and training
REQUIREMENTS
What we’re looking for
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
· Recently graduated and/or early in your career (up to 2 years’ experience) in customer-facing, analytical, or retail-related roles (including internships or graduate roles)
· Fluent in Dutch and English
· Interest in data analysis, retail, and customer decision-making
· Comfortable working with numbers and learning new tools
Nice to have
· Experience in FMCG or market research
· Experience presenting insights to clients or stakeholders
· Exposure to consulting or customer success environments

· Salary: 43.276 EUR to 45.998 EUR gross per year. Placement within the range will depend on objective criteria including experience, skills, and internal equity considerations. We are committed to equal pay and pay transparency. Remuneration decisions are made using gender-neutral and objective criteria.
