What You’ll Do
The Industry Channel Sales Manager is the individual accountable and responsible for the accelerated growth of the high-potential Industrial Business in Mexico.
This role is responsible to adapt the regional C&I Strategy to Mexico, based on local opportunities, potential, resources, and capabilities, and to ensure a proper and disciplined execution.
Main Responsibilities
- Define the One Year Plan for the Industrial Channel, setting achievable yet challenging targets, along to defining key initiatives to invest to bring incremental sales to the plan.
- Link the One Year Plan to a 3 Year Plan that ensures the long-term vision and sustainability of the business.
- Develop the strategy for both key pillars for Industry: Sell in (Distributors/Partners strategy) and Sell Out (End User Strategy)
- Define the Key Construction Investment Projects to cover and penetrate, as well as to define the key segments to attack for the MRO.
- Accountable for the growth through Industrial Portfolio expansion based on white spaces (products available elsewhere in SBD) and NPIs (Innovation)
- Key sponsor and owner of the Capture Plan for each one of the Focus Projects to make sure that the SoW (Share of Wallet) targets are met.
- Actively participate on defining the best way to measure performance and create consistent compensation models for the different roles.
- As part of the Local LT and Regional C&I LT, active and efficient communication with the local EMT and Regional C&I EMT to get everyone on board, showing empathy on the challenges and willingness to seek for solutions to move forward.
- Accountable for the creation of an environment and conditions to encourage her/his team member´s development.
- Achieves local and regional sales operational objectives by contributing local and regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements; implementing change.
- Meets regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; preparing an annual budget; scheduling expenditures; analyzing variances; initiating corrective actions.
- Establishes sales objectives by creating a JBP and quota for KAMs and Sales Reps. Representatives in support of national objectives.
- Maintains and expands customer base by counseling district sales representatives and KAM’s; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
- Develop great relationships with distributors and key accounts, ensuring correct coverage and penetration, in the same way develop plans that promote loyalty of our brands throughout the supply chain.
- Recommends product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
- Lead the IBP process of the Industry channel working collaboratively with the demand teams. Ensure adequate forecast accuracy.
- Implements trade promotions by publishing, tracking, and evaluating trade spending.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks.

- 4 – 5 years of Sales Experience.
- 2-4 years leading Sales Teams and ability to motivate and coach.
- 2 years of Territory Management experience.
- 2 years managing Profitability.
- Results oriented.

- Strong at building Relationships and Extraordinary negotiation skills
- Emphasizing Excellence
- Strong strategical, critical and analytical thinking
- Data based decision making
- Strong expertise and skills on Systematic Account Development
- Advanced Excel & Power Point
- CRM ( Sales force ) Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree - MBA a plus
