REVEL is an AI robotics company developing physical intelligence for general-purpose humanoid robots. We capture the force, dexterity and intent of human work with our Neural Gambit wearable, and use it to train RAI, the intelligence that powers our robots. REVEL is headquartered in Palo Alto, California, with R&D and engineering facilities in Prague and Hradec Králové, Czech Republic. This role is on-site with our engineering team in the Czech Republic.
Neural Gambit has to be worn all day. We're looking for an Industrial Designer to own the look, feel and wearability of the NG sleeve and clip-on hub.
Responsibilities
Industrial design of the NG v2 sleeve and clip-on hub
SLS and soft-goods design for all-day comfortable wear
Work with the 3D/content team on renders and launch films
Prototype, fit-test and iterate on real arms
Balance a clean technical-product aesthetic with manufacturability
Requirements
Strong ID portfolio, ideally wearables or consumer hardware
CAD plus soft-goods or SLS knowledge
Eye for a refined technical-product aesthetic
Ability to take a concept from sketch to producible part
Bonus qualifications
Experience with medical or sports wearables
Knowledge of textiles and flexible materials
Rendering / visualisation skills
Skills Required
- Strong industrial design portfolio
- Experience with wearables or consumer hardware
- Proficiency with CAD and knowledge of soft-goods or SLS processes
