What You’ll Be Part Of
This position is focused within HARMAN Automotive. The Electronics Advanced Manufacturing Engineering team is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Process Engineer to support local and remote electronics process and equipment activities. This position will have a strong influence on HARMAN's OEM Electronics Advanced Manufacturing Engineering initiatives and will work closely with regional and local teams to deliver AME prototype and plant process and equipment launch requirements.
How You’ll Make An Impact
Evaluate, implement, and monitor manufacturing processes and operating systems for printed circuit boards.
Maintain and improve factory processes and key performance metrics such as production efficiency, cycle time, capacity, and process capability.
Provide on-floor technical support for critical SMT process and product issues.
Develop and support new manufacturing processes.
Support multiple AME improvement projects simultaneously.

SPI Processes
Reflow Oven Profiles
SMT Optical Inspection Processes
NXT Programs
XRAY Programs
AOI Programs
Selective Soldering Programs
Coating Inspection Programs

Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering Technology (BSMET) or Bachelor of Science in Electronics Engineering Technology (BSEET).
Minimum 1 year of experience in an electronics manufacturing environment.
Thorough knowledge of machine design concepts.
Ability to create process documentation and Visual Job Instructions (VJIs).

This role is based in Queretaro and follows a hybrid schedule, with regular in-office collaboration alongside engineering, product, and customer program teams.
This position supports global product launch timelines, so occasional early morning or evening meetings may be needed to collaborate with teams in Europe and Asia.
This role requires occasional domestic and international travel to customer sites, manufacturing locations, or product launch meetings.
Professional working proficiency in English and German is required to support day-to-day communication with OEM customers and regional engineering teams.
Successfully complete a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment (post-offer).
