Purpose Statement: The Continuous Improvement Leader II, reporting to the Site OpEx Manager (or assigned by the Site OpEx MGR) will support deployment of the roadmap for the Plexus’ Operational Excellence Strategy in their site supporting continuous improvement projects using the DMAIC, A3 or Kaizen methodologies.
Key Job Accountabilities:
- Support Operational Excellence initiatives across their home site.
- Support PSOE deployments in home site.
- Lead and support Operational Excellence applying lean and six sigma tools and processes.
Support Site BEST Program engagement. - Support site's Operational Excellence/Lean Steering Team to achieve targeted financial impact.
- Support site Operational Excellence processes, metrics and any associated tools ensuring standard work alignment. Identify and deploy Kaizen. Ensure 6S deployment and alignment.
- Lead Operational Excellence shopfloor activities with C.I. Eng I and the C.I.Technician staff with line re-configurations as required.
Education/Experience Qualifications:
- Technical Degree or equivalent. Studying for Lean Six Green Belt Certification from BQF (British Quality Foundation) or ASQ (American Society for Quality) OR equivalent from Motorola or GE. Project Management Certification from PMI (Project Management Institute) or recognized equivalent.
- 3-years experience in Industry in Technology, Supply Chain or Operations roles.
