Reporting to the Head of Airbus Defence and Space India and South Asia, the Industrial Cooperation Lead will closely support the “Director Strategy International & Industrial Partnerships” by managing offset execution and spearheading strategic industrial cooperation projects. In this role, the incumbent will orchestrate comprehensive internal and external stakeholder engagement, ensuring seamless local and global alignment across Airbus Group representatives and the wider Indian defence and aerospace ecosystem. Additionally, they will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and reporting on critical market and competitive intelligence to help shape future strategy.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The incumbent will be responsible for providing autonomous support to the Director Strategy International & Industrial Partnerships and ensuring internal alignment across offsets topics, including but not limited to the following tasks:
Drive identification, structuring, and execution of industrial cooperation and R&D projects in association with Airbus stakeholders, local industrial networks, and R&D institutions.
Support Airbus Defence and Space Sales campaigns in India from an Industrial cooperation and offsets perspective.
Foster and maintain key strategic relationships with local authorities, DRDO, and key institutional stakeholders.
Provide market competitive intelligence on local industrial, R&D, and regulatory developments relevant to International Cooperation and Offsets (IC&O).
Support planning and implementation of procurement missions, executive visits, engagements with Indian industry and regional events.
Take independent ownership of and support the execution of strategic offset projects through:
End-to-end accountability for the entire offset project process, including the review, validation, organization, and submission of documentation in line with applicable guidelines
Efficient stakeholder management across local and global ecosystems through seamless collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Engagement with Indian Offset Partners (IOPs) to secure necessary trade documentation in accordance with offset protocols.
Contribution towards combined goals wherever applicable to win a campaign / strategy implementation.

Skills:
The candidate must have professional experience of 12-15 years
Sound understanding of the Indian Defence and Aerospace ecosystem, government decision making processes, offset guidelines, and the industrial landscape
Prior working experience in the industrial co-operations/ partnership domain would be definite advantage
Education: Engineering, Masters in Tech, Business administrations
Must have: Good hands on understanding of the intricacies of the defence procurement guidelines and basic understanding of global trade and finance.
Proficient in presentations and basic financial modelling
Proficient in verbal and written communication
Ability to proficiently handle executive stakeholder management
Able to drive cross functional alignments across the organization
Proactive in approach and Team work.
